Wuzly is a CMS (Content Management System) that allows anyone to create a blog relatively easily without a technical background or previous knowledge. The concept is that the user would use the platform as the means of opening a blog or website from starting out with just a server and domain. Blogging is an open and social space, with hundreds, possibly thousands of people starting blogs on the web every day.

We thought that the choices were limited and those that were available had become bloated and not very friendly to a new user. This is the reason that we started Wuzly. It has evolved and expanded from its early days and pre-releases but it still remains a slick, elegant and fast way of blogging.

Wuzly was initially founded by Sam Ruston, in 2010. It started as a small project of his, for personal use, until the idea of public release sparked. Since its creation, it has become quite successful and is used by many blogs. Although the development team has expanded, Sam Ruston still remains the main developer and maintainer of the blogging platform.

Wuzly, although officially released to the public, does not cost money and will always remain a free platform for download. We work exceptionally hard on the project, but we do this for enjoyment, to build a better platform. If you don't use it, then we hope you a good experience with someone else. As we don't gain an income from Wuzly, we don't have to corner you into a box to use our blogging platform. It's free and you can use how and whenever you would like to.

1. To go beyond just an easy-on-the-eyes interface. We don't release anything that we don't feel is to our best standards when it comes to graphic and web design.


2. Why put in place restrictions? We believe that everyone and anyone should be able to start and continue blogging from anywhere around the world at anytime on any device. Availability is key.


3. Everything we build now and in the future is designed to fit perfectly in with our previous work and creations. There's no need in having to cross any learning curves.


4. Remain open and free. Always.

After installation, the Wuzly Blogging Platform, can be edited or altered as stated in the GNU License. However, support or our help will not be provided if such modifications to the product occur.
